The first Factory campus in Berlin brought together 26 technology companies at different growth stages—a community of more than 500 people working under one roof in Berlin Mitte.
 
As Berlin’s startup scene was emerging, the goal was to create a coworking space that served as a playground for builders and innovators—a place where collaboration and chance encounters could thrive.
As the Factory model began to expand beyond Berlin, the team sought to capture what made it work. They developed a playbook; a blueprint for scaling the Factory concept and redefining coworking for startups of every stage.
